Vicky qualified and worked in the real estate team at a large city firm for a number of years, assisting clients like McDonald’s, Body Shop and the Arcadia group. After nearly a decade of specialising in retail property law, Vicky now counts herself as an expert in the agricultural legal sector, and is a regular contributor to Farm Diversity Magazine, as well as speaking at the Farm Business Innovation show at the NEC. There is very little that Vicky doesn’t know about rural land, the buying and selling of farm businesses and succession planning. Moving to Royds Withy King in March 2020 Vicky brought high profile clients with her and she still counts AllSaints and Wood Green Animal Shelters amongst her team’s retail clients and continues to work with the owners of many farms and estates. Vicky has more recently developed a specialism in the retirement sector and residential development/investment work. Having worked with retirement housing specialist, Cognatum, for some years she continues to support them with their varied mix of legal work; from the acquisition and development of new retirement estates to the day to day running of existing ones. She also has many developer clients who rely on her for legal support and particularly enjoys the satisfaction of turning the “impossible” deals her clients decide to challenge her with into actual working legal documents.
