Scott Preece Bio

Scott is an experienced corporate lawyer who is recommended by The Legal 500 for his work in Venture Capital and Corporate transactions. He specialises in particular in venture capital / private equity transactions, having worked with a wide range of both scaling businesses and national and international VC / PE funds. Having advised on both investor and investee sides for many years, and in relation to investment rounds ranging from early-stage seed funding to significant Series B+ rounds, Scott is well placed to advise on any equity funding requirements. He is adapt at working closely with investor and founder teams, including support of those who may have little to no experience of investment. Scott also has significant experience advising on exits and acquisitions of private companies in a range of sectors; having worked for buyer and seller sides on a number of deals with substantial valuations. He also advises on general corporate issues including share buy-backs, group reorganisations, company constitutions and capital reductions.
