David Gerber Bio

David is a Partner in our Corporate Team based in our London office. David has more than two decades’ experience advising clients on a range of corporate transactional matters, including cross-border and domestic disposals and acquisitions, joint ventures and fundraisings. He has particular expertise in private equity transactions and has acted for emerging growth and expanding businesses, funds, family offices, entrepreneurs and management teams across various sectors. David graduated from Glasgow University in 1997 with a first class degree in Law and from Oxford University in 1999 with a BCL (Bachelor of Civil Law) degree. Having qualified as a solicitor in Scotland in 2001, he has continued his career in London at leading international law firms before joining RWK Goodman in January 2025. David has been listed in many of the leading legal directories for his work in M&A and private equity, including The Best Lawyers in the United Kingdom (2021-to date) for M&A, in IFLR (2018-to date) as a ‘notable practitioner’ for Private Equity & M&A UK; and as Deal Maker of the Year 2023 (Finance Monthly) for acting for Rockpool Investments on its investment in Rosetta Brands.
