Alberto Russo, founder and managing partner of the Firm, mainly practices in financial and real estate taxation and extraordinary corporate transactions, with particular regard to Private Equity transactions, corporate finance and intergenerational transfer. He has belonged to the Association of Journalists, Register of Publicists since 2010. He is a lecturer in masters in tax law and masters on extraordinary transactions of the Il Sole 24 Ore newspaper, of which he is also a scientific coordinator, and more generally, he is actively involved in publishing activities relating to conventions, seminars and editorial contributions for the main sector operators. In 2021 he published a book on extraordinary transactions and one on the transmission of assets; from 2016 to 2017, a series made up of six volumes concerning extraordinary transactions, published by Il Sole 24 Ore; in 2015, a volume on voluntary disclosure; in 2014, a volume about debt restructuring agreements (on its second edition) and one on corporate succession; in 2012, a book dedicated to intergenerational transfer; in 2010, a book on the tax shield (which had two editions); and in 2009 one on real estate taxation. In 2014, he was awarded, together with Leo De Rosa, as founder, the accolade of “Tax advisor firm of the year” during the Tax & Finance Awards given by a jury panel composed of the top exponents of the economic, financial and entrepreneurial worlds. In 2016 he received the Tax And Finance Award as “Best Practice Voluntary Disclosure Firm of the Year”.He graduated in 1993 with top marks and honours from Pavia University with a specialisation in Administration and Finance and he has been registered at the Association of Chartered Accountants since 1996 and the Association of Statutory Auditors since 1999. He has also been registered at the Association of Court-appointed Expert Witnesses at the Court of Milan under no. 15677 since 2019. He is fluent in Italian and English.
