One of our founders, a hugely experienced corporate lawyer, who has specialised in advising on corporate transactions and related company law matters since qualifying in 1986. Bruce trained and spent the first years of his career at Freshfields, going on to join Osborne Clarke, where he was a partner for over 10 years, before teaming up with Jason Milkins to found Roxburgh Milkins in 2003.Working mostly with entrepreneurially run businesses, Bruce advises on a varied mix of corporate transactions, including company acquisitions and disposals, management buy-outs and buy-ins, joint ventures, group reorganisations and start-up and development capital situations. He also specialises in helping business owners with company law-related issues, ranging from the duties directors owe to their companies and creditors, to the best way of setting up a share-based incentive scheme for employees.
