Bio

Leire Elorza practices in the corporate and commercial department and specializes in real estate and construction law. Her background includes advising domestic and international clients on an array of transactions involving the real estate market. She mainly focuses her advisory practice on commercial and corporate law, and real estate and construction law. She has acted on major acquisition, regularization, and asset sale deals (mostly land, housing, offices, and hotels). This also includes advising on creating investment and real estate management vehicles, and she provides ongoing legal advice to their governing bodies, where she focuses her work on helping them go public (REIT) and on creating and divesting their portfolios. Additionally, she has taken part in divesting and winding up real estate companies—especially companies owned by financial institutions—and has advised on all types of contracts related to developing, building, and marketing assets (development management agreements, works contracts, technical service contracts, leases, and management contracts). Before joining RCD, Leire built her professional career at Cuatrecasas.
