Paul Sullivan is a dynamic private equity lawyer who represents institutional and strategic investors in a wide range of complex transactions. His multi-faceted practice encompasses mergers and acquisitions, out-of-court restructurings, PIPEs, minority and club deals, IPOs and de-SPAC transactions. Beyond his transactional work, PJ regularly advises private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies on corporate governance, compliance, equity and general operational matters. Operating in both the middle-market and large-cap spaces, PJ has established deep relationships with clients across a broad spectrum of industries, including consumer products, retail, healthcare, TMT and asset management. Clients value the evenhanded approach he brings to high pressure situations. Having spent time in-house at a private investment firm through a secondment, PJ also has a keen understanding of the private equity industry and is able to offer clients guidance on how to balance risk while achieving their commercial goals. At the firm, PJ takes an active role in entry-level recruiting, diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, and associate training and development. A former All-American swimmer at the University of Virginia, he remains actively involved in the swimming community.
