Practicing lawyer since 1995 specialized in Health and Pharmaceutical Law. She has extensive experience in legal advice to hospital centers and in national and international consulting of health systems and health management. Yolanda’s work is especially focused on the sale of medicines and health products, in the framework of both public contracts and private contracts, having developed much of her career in advising on this matter. She is a specialist in advising the generation of innovation, its valorization, the transfer of technology and the generation of new products, services and business models in the biotechnological field. She also has extensive experience in public services management and in advising public entities, non-profit institutions and private companies in the corporate and contractual fields, as well as Administrative and Regulatory Law. She is secretary of several boards of directors and boards of trustees. Prior to joining RocaJunyent, she was the director of the legal services of the Consortium of Health and Social of Catalonia and its Grouped Contracting Service. She is a professor of the Master’s Degree in Management of Hospitals and Health Centers of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Barcelona; of the Master’s Degree of Access to the Legal Profession of the Pompeu Fabra University; and of the Master’s Degree in Health and Pharmaceutical Law of the Center for Higher Studies of the Pharmaceutical Industry. She regularly participates as a speaker in national and international conferences in the field of biotechnology, healthcare and the pharmaceutical industry. She is a mentor of several biotechnological startups. In addition, she participates in the advisory board of institutions in the biomedical sector.
