Avi Sinensky is a partner in Rivkin Radler’s Corporate Practice Group. He has extensive experience advising founders, operators, investors, searchers and private equity groups on a wide variety of corporate transactions, including complex mergers and acquisitions, equity financing transactions and joint ventures. Avi also regularly counsels clients on startup formation and corporate governance matters, including the negotiation of shareholder and operating agreements, service agreements, employment arrangements and commercial contracts. His practice spans a wide range of industries, such as manufacturing, technology, life sciences, e-commerce, health care, distribution, business services, hospitality and professional services. Avi is a respected thought leader in his field and regularly writes and presents on a wide variety of business and corporate law topics. His articles have been featured in the Long Island Business News, USLAW Magazine and the New York Law Journal and he has appeared as a speaker at events sponsored by the New York City Bar Association, Small Business Expo and numerous professional organizations and affinity groups. He has developed a series of educational workshops, such as “Anatomy of a Purchase Agreement” and “The Legally Binding and Completely Unbreakable Contract” and is the creator of “Project Bosco,” an in-house M&A training program. As a grandchild of Survivors, Avi is a devoted supporter of Holocaust education, both as a speaker for 3GNY and as a volunteer for the Holocaust Memorial and Tolerance Center of Nassau County. Avi is an avid fan of the New York Mets and New York Jets. He is the host of “Pretty Pretty Pretty Good,” a podcast about Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm, and the Executive Producer of Real Survivor Fantasy Football, a hybrid fantasy football league/reality television program that is currently in its third season. He resides in West Hempstead, NY, with his wife, Rachel, and daughters, Annie and Emily.
