Stella Lellos is a partner in Rivkin Radler’s corporate practice group. Her practice focuses primarily on private company mergers and acquisitions, including strategic mergers, leveraged buyouts, joint ventures, as well as corporate finance transactions and general corporate representation of U.S.-based and international companies. Stella’s clients range from private companies to private equity groups, to international public companies. Stella has experience in a breadth of industries including, healthcare, consumer products, travel, construction, technology, manufacturing, distribution, retail and hospitality. In her general corporate practice, Stella regularly advises clients on structuring and implementing domestic and international joint ventures, as well as trademark and software licensing, executive employment and compensation issues, and corporate governance matters. Her extensive experience covers all forms of corporate agreements, including service agreements, employment and consulting agreements, manufacturing and distribution agreements, and licensing. Internationally, Stella routinely represents both domestic and international clients in the startup and expansion of businesses across international lines, assisting foreign clients entering the U.S. market with the selection of appropriate business entities, ownership structures and tax implications, and advising domestic clients with overseas expansion, including working with local counsel to achieve optimal results. Her international experience extends to issues related to the importation and exportation of goods, joint ventures, acquisitions and divestitures, licensing and other cross border agreements. Stella is a frequent speaker at the New York City Bar Center on topics related to the formation and use of limited liability companies, mergers and acquisitions, and other corporate issues. Stella is fluent in French, Greek and German, and is admitted as a Solicitor in the courts of England and Wales.
