Christopher Edwards joined Reitler Kailas & Rosenblatt LLP in 2008 and provides counsel to a variety of venture capital funds and to a broad range of companies, from start-ups to publicly-traded entities, in the fields of venture capital, mergers and acquisitions, banking, securities and general corporate law. He has particularly deep and broad experience with emerging-growth companies in industries ranging from financial data to fintech, insurtech, manufacturing, media, medicine, online consumer and business-to-business platforms, proptech, retail, railroads, robotics and other technology, including artificial intelligence. Earlier in his career, he worked in several large law firms including Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP and Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP, focusing primarily on structured finance but also on mergers and acquisitions, equipment financing, secured lending, and other corporate transactions, before serving as an Assistant General Counsel in the Bank of America legal department. He also spent significant time in Europe and speaks fluent French.
