Gonzalo De Las Casas is a Senior Partner at Rebaza, Alcázar & De las Casas Abogados. He is a lawyer graduated from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP). His areas of expertise include Restructuring, Banking and Finance, Corporate Law, Corporate Reorganization and Bankruptcy Law. During the last decade he has been legal advisor in the most important corporate reorganizations and bankruptcy proceedings in Peru. He has participated in private restructuring agreements, creditor payment agreements and sale of companies in financial crisis. Gonzalo has been summoned as an expert witness on Corporate Insolvency matters in arbitrations and legal proceedings in the United Kingdom and the United States. I have been appointed as an arbitrator on the Dispute Resolution Board of the World Trade Organization in various cases. He has participated in all the main restructuring processes in Peru for more than three decades, extending his practice towards corporate management, assisting as a Director of many companies in Peru, such as; Quimpac, Pesquera Hayduk, Talma Airport Services, Airports of Peru, APC Corporation and many more. It has been classified as a Star Individual by Chambers and Partners, a Highly Regarded Rating by IFRL 1000, Leading Rating by Leaders League and Leading Individuals by Legal 500.
