Jake Mayers practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital investments and corporate governance matters. He has experience in a broad range of transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, carve-outs, leveraged buyouts, and venture financings, across several industries, including technology, healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, and food, beverage and hospitality. Jake was chosen to the Texas Rising Stars List, Super Lawyers (Thomson Reuters) in 2021 and 2022 and was selected to the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch (Mergers and Acquisitions Law) in 2021 and 2022. Prior to joining Queen, Saenz + Schutz, Jake practiced at Coblentz Patch Duffy & Bass in San Francisco, California and Simpson Thacher & Bartlett in Palo Alto, California. Jake graduated from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law in 2013 with a Business Law Certificate, earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Davis in 2009 and is a member of the Texas bar and California bar.
