Taylor Weinstein is a member of Pryor Cashman’s Tax and Investment Management Groups, where she advises on the tax aspects of a broad range of corporate matters, including the formation and structuring of private investment funds, mergers and acquisitions, financings, and securities offerings. She regularly helps clients navigate complex income tax issues arising in connection with sales, acquisitions, and joint ventures, including in cross-border settings. Taylor has extensive experience assisting clients with the organization of their business enterprises and with the planning, structuring, financing, and execution of their business transactions. She helps clients in properly establishing their tax positions, complying with applicable reporting and payment requirements, and defending their tax positions in examinations, administrative appeals, and judicial proceedings. She also counsels individuals and businesses with respect to non-income tax matters, including New York State and City sales tax and real estate transfer tax.
