Dan Cahill is the firm's Managing Partner and in this capacity Dan serves as the Chair of the firm's Management Committee. He is also the firm's assistant general counsel and loss prevention partner. Dan, a life-long Raleigh resident, has spent over 22 years representing corporations in all types of commercial disputes in state and federal court, and through alternative dispute resolution. In that time, Dan also spent eight years working in-house with a client as a staff attorney in their legal department. This experience lends to his ability to understand clients’ business needs and advocate for them as both a litigator and firm leader. He focuses his practice on complex commercial disputes, representing banks and financial institutions – in all types of litigation, including lender liability claims and challenges to mortgage collateral; commercial landlords; and construction companies – in litigation and with contract revision.
