Maria Paula Sanchez is a partner at Posse Herrera Ruiz. Her primary practice focuses on the firm's customs and foreign trade department. She is a lawyer from the Javeriana University. She has an LL.M in International Trade and Investment Law from Maastricht University, Netherlands. She specialized in Customs Law and Tax Law at the Universidad del Rosario, Bogotá, and studies at Fordham University, New York. He has more than 15 years of experience in customs law, international trade, trade defense, free zones and customs litigation. She was Founding Partner of the legal area of ​​Comex SAS, legal director of the Medellín headquarters of Araújo Ibarra & Asociados, partner of the customs and foreign trade area at Forero Medina & Abogados Asociados. She has been Co-Director of the Magazine of the Colombian Institute of Tax Law (ICDT), Former main member of the Board of Directors of the Colombian Institute of Customs Law ICDA; professor of International Economic Law at the Javeriana University; professor of the Master's Degree in International Business (MIB) at the EAFIT University, and will profess in the specialization in Customs Law at the Autonomous University of the West.
