Juan Manuel Cuellar is a professional with a great reputation in the energy and hydrocarbon sector, with more than 24 years of experience in regulatory issues, management of legal issues before authorities and has been in charge of large transactions, which allows him to move with skill. in complex environments and quickly offer effective alternatives to its clients. Before joining Posse Herrera Ruiz, Juan Manuel has been in charge of high-level legal and corporate matters at important companies in the sector, including Ecopetrol, Hocol, Emerald Energy, Repsol, Worley, Bioenergy and Trina Solar, where he has also had a key participation in unions such as ACP and SER. His deep knowledge in the matter has led him to be Arbitrator of the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce for Hydrocarbons, Mines and Energy matters, to be an active member of the Association of International Energy Negotiators (AIEN), of the Mining Lawyers Association, Petroleum and Energy (CAMPE) and to be a professor of the Specialization of Mining, Energy and Sustainable Development Law at the Universidad de los Andes.
