Carolina Posada co-directs the area of Dispute Resolution and focuses in national and international arbitration, as well as in judicial processes. She has more than 24 years of experience, with a proven track record of success representing local and foreign clients before civil and administrative courts, as well as national and international arbitration tribunals. Her professional practice comprises contractual liability, damages, insurance and reinsurance, distribution contracts, corporate and M&A disputes, construction, and infrastructure, among others. She is part of the roster of arbitrators of the main Arbitration Centers of the country’s Chambers of Commerce, the Superintendency of Corporations and of AMCHAM Peru. She is also a sports arbitrator of the Dispute Resolution Chamber of the Colombian Football Federation and the Chamber of Commerce of Cali. Carolina is a member of the Colombian Arbitration Commission of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), of the Latin American Arbitration Association (ALARB) and has acted as an expert in Colombian law before state courts in the United States. She is recognized in Chambers & Partners as a Band 2 lawyer in Dispute Resolution. The Legal 500, Best Lawyers and Who’s Who Legal consider her as a leader in her field. Benchmark Litigation recognizes her as “litigation star” and has included her for 3 years in a row, among the “Top 25 Lat-Am Women in Litigation”.
