Todd Rumberger Bio

Todd Rumberger, recognized by Chambers USA for Startups & Emerging Companies Nationwide and for Venture Capital in California, represents emerging growth companies throughout their life cycle. Todd counsels founders on the initial organization and capitalization of their startup, and guides them through fundraising negotiations and terms with pre-seed, seed, and larger institutional and strategic investors. He advises on securities offerings and mergers and acquisitions, and supports later-stage venture-backed companies with equity and debt financings, responsibilities of management and board corporate governance, employment and related incentive compensation matters, and strategic commercial transactions. Todd also advises numerous early and late-stage venture capital firms, as well as strategic corporate investors on their investment in and management of their portfolio companies. He also has significant experience in assisting foreign startups and growth-stage companies to establish a presence and obtain venture funding in the United States. Prior to joining Pillsbury, Todd was a partner at the Palo Alto office of an international law firm. He has also served as managing partner, co-chair of the technology industry team and vice chair of the corporate group of an international law firm.
