Nick advises a mix of corporates (private and public) and private equity sponsors on a wide range of matters from acquisitions and follow-on investments, disposals, restructurings, and equity investments across many industries, including energy, metals and mining, financial services, technology, telecoms, pharmaceutical, infrastructure and retail. Nick spent nine years in the Moscow office of a leading international law firm and has significant experience in emerging markets, managing complicated multijurisdictional transactions (in particular joint ventures) and resolving high-stakes shareholder disputes. Companies Nick has represented in substantial matters include AAR, the Alfa Group, Baring Vostok, Basic Element, Conagra, Eldorado, Evraz, Framatome, Hachette Livre, JTC Plc, the LetterOne Group, Macquarie, Rosneft and Winter Capital.
