Sima Kanan Bio

Sima Kanan is a senior corporate lawyer with 20 years experience in M&A transactions in the energy and infrastructure sector and, since 2017, she has specialised in investment funds and asset management. Sima’s work includes: fund establishment (Private Equity, Private Equity Real Estate and Infrastructure) and restructuring for Local Government Pension Scheme pools, Start-ups, VC and PE firms, acquisition and disposal of energy infrastructure assets, negotiation of multi-party Joint Venture agreements for the development of energy infrastructure projects. Sima also works with placement agents, depositories, and fund administrators.
