Oliver Gutman Bio

Oliver Gutman is a partner in the corporate team in London, specialising in tax issues. With over 15 years of experience advising a range of clients including large corporates, banks, owner-managed businesses, and individuals, he has an extensive knowledge of complex tax matters. He advises a number of leading investment funds, in particular on structuring funds to qualify for business property relief from inheritance tax. Handling a variety of tax issues arising from M&A, corporate restructuring, equity and debt financing, MBOs, and private equity buy-outs, as well as real estate acquisitions and development, Oliver has particular expertise in tax-advantaged investment products. Oliver joined Penningtons Manches Cooper in 2023, from another leading UK law firm.
