John Chater Bio

John Chater is a partner in our banking and finance team. He has experience acting on a broad range of finance transactions including acquisitions, real estate and project finance, loan servicing and general corporate banking on both the lender and borrower sides. He also advises on the restructuring of distressed businesses and insolvency procedures. He has a particular focus on the technology, healthcare, hospitality and renewable energy sectors. As well as advising on transactions, John has presented to clients at large industry conferences. Recommended by The Legal 500 in the South East and London regions, John is noted for his ‘good commercial approach’ and the fact that he ‘responds quickly’.
