Neil Smollett has extensive experience in commercial and corporate law, including cooperative society law, as well as acting for clients in commercial dispute resolution and administrative review. Particular fields of expertise include the tourist industry, where he represents clients in the acquisitions of hotels chains, international franchise agreements, sales and sale and leaseback transactions, planning and zoning issues and day to day industry issues, and in the agricultural sector – including all aspects of cooperative society law. Of particular note, Neil previously acted as a leading attorney for the legislative process, government negotiations and subsequent representation in mass litigation resulting from the Israeli withdrawal plan from the Gaza Strip and North Samaria. Neil has further expertise in government legislation processes, from draft to final committee revisions, and regulatory issues, including administrative review, in the reform of the vehicle industry undertaken by the Ministry of Transport.
