Paola Carlotti has been a partner of Pavia e Ansaldo since 2015 and is principally based in our Milan office. Paola has built up wide expertise in the M&A and private equity sectors, having worked over the years on a large number of extraordinary transactions, both domestic and cross-border. She advises on restructuring and insolvency-related matters and represents both debtor corporations and creditors in connection with the negotiation of debt restructuring agreements, reorganization plans, and distressed acquisitions. Paola also advises on corporate governance matters, company reorganization, management incentive plans and directors’ liability. In 2006 Paola Carlotti has been Visiting Research Fellow at Columbia Law School (New York). In 2011-2012 she has been visiting foreign lawyer at the New York office of a leading international law firm. In 2008, Paola received a Ph.D. in business law from Bocconi University, Milan. She is a member of the International Bar Association (IBA) and of Società Italiana di Studi Concorsuali (S.I.S.CO.).
