Tyler MacKay is a member of Parsons Behle & Latimer’s Corporate practice where he focuses on all aspects of the innovation economy. Tyler’s clients include capital allocators, startups, SMBs, and other key players in the entrepreneurship ecosystem, who he advises on mergers and acquisitions, funding, company structuring, fund formation, commercial contracts, securities issues, franchise acquisition, and more. Tyler started his career in fund administration where he advised some of the most prolific early-stage investors on fund formation and securities compliance. Following his time in fund formation, Tyler was an early employee at a VC-backed FinTech startup focused on bringing transparency to private capital markets, where he served in both legal and operational roles prior to an exit to JPMorgan Chase. Tyler is now a shareholder in the Corporate M&A Practice Group and leads the firm’s early stage and venture capital practice group, Parsons Lift. When not working he can usually be found exploring mountains and deserts with his family, playing the violin and mandolin, and participating in “alternative sports.”
