Jochen Mittag Bio

With over 15 years of experience, Jochen Mittag provides legal advice for banks and financial services institutions on banking and capital markets law, including regulatory and stock exchange law. A substantial part of his practice is related to structuring securities prospectuses and advising on the corresponding approval procedures in the context of issuing programs for derivative financial products. He also focuses on advising and representing banks and financial services institutions in liability cases. He is a lecturer on corporate law at FOM University of Applied Sciences, Frankfurt. Jochen Mittag is one of OMF’s founding partners. Prior to that, he was a partner at Thümmel, Schütze & Partner in Frankfurt for ten years. He is a member of the Working Group Banking and Capital Markets of the German Lawyers’ Association (Deutscher Anwaltsverein, DAV).
