Jan Konig Bio

Jan Konig area of expertise includes advising banks and financial services institutions on banking and capital markets law, including regulatory questions. As well as structuring securities prospectuses for derivative financial products, he also advises investment funds on structuring and setting up investment and exchange traded funds, as well as their offer in the German market. In addition he advises clients on legal matters in relation to IT- and software and data protection (GDPR). In January 2009, Jan König became a partner at OMF, after having worked for Thümmel, Schütze & Partner in Frankfurt am Main since 2003. He is a member of the German-American Lawyers’ Association as well as of the German-Swiss Lawyers’ Association.
