Victoria’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, corporate governance and complex commercial arrangements for financial institutions, REITs, and public and private corporations, with specialized expertise in the financial services and retirement homes sectors. In addition to her transactional practice, Victoria routinely advises Canadian and foreign financial institutions and other regulated and unregulated financial service providers on a variety of regulatory matters, including bank and insurance regulation, Fintech, compliance, establishment of new financial institutions in Canada, corporate governance, credit cards, payment and settlement systems, compliance and outsourcing arrangements.
