Vanessa Hansford Bio

Vanessa Hansford is a Partner with Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP based in Toronto. She has more than a decade of business law experience and specializes in investment funds, asset management and securities regulatory matters. Vanessa regularly advises investment managers, private equity sponsors, Canadian pension plans and other institutional investors on a diverse range of complex matters relating to exchange-traded funds, mutual funds, closed-end funds and private equity funds. She has acted for both issuers and underwriters on a variety of corporate finance matters (including both public offerings and private placements) as well as assisted with a variety of fund formations (both public and private). Vanessa joined the firm as a summer student in 2009 and completed her articles with the firm in 2010–2011.
