He is trusted by senior public and private companies, private equity sponsors, investment banks, special committees and boards of directors to deliver strategic and practical advice on mergers & acquisitions, capital raising, restructurings, corporate governance and shareholder activism, across various industries. Trevor is widely recognized as a leading practitioner, including by Best Lawyers in Canada, Chambers Canada: Canada’s Leading Lawyers for Busines, IFLR 1000: The Guide to the World’s Leading Financial Law Firms, The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory, and Thomson Reuters. Trevor is the former Chair of the Canadian Bar Association’s National Business Law Section and a former Chair of the Securities Law Subsection of the Canadian Bar Association (BC). He is also a past member of the Securities Law Advisory Committee, which is a committee of leading lawyers that provides advice to the British Columbia Securities Commission on legal and policy issues relating to securities regulation.
