Alex regularly acts on Canada’s most high profile and complex transactions, delivering practical advice to private and public companies, private equity sponsors, and special committees on a diverse range of strategic mandates. His private equity deal experience includes acting for Blackstone, Sculptor, Platinum Equity, iCON Infrastructure, Sterling Partners and Penfund. He has advised on numerous real estate and REIT transactions including on behalf of Dream Global, SmartCentres, KingSett and Ventas. In addition to transactional work, Alex advises on governance and continuous disclosure matters, early warning and insider reporting requirements, exemptive relief applications, and general corporate matters.
