Kai-Michael Konig advises in the areas of M&A and corporate law with a focus on D&O liability. His consulting practice also includes distribution law. He regularly advises on transactions of various sizes and structures. Before joining Orth Kluth as a Partner in 2007, he practised corporate law, capital markets law and M&A at Hengeler Mueller from 2001 to 2007, gaining extensive experience in the transaction business. In 2003/2004 he was seconded to Slaughter and May in London. After completing his education as a banker, Kai-Michael König studied law in Saarbrücken and Rennes and worked as a research assistant at the European Institute of Saarland University. In 2002, he received his doctorate in law from the University of the Saarland.
