Robert Glawe received his doctorate, summa cum laude, from the University of Osnabrück (Professor Dr. Ipsen) in 2010. During his traineeship (Referendariat) he also worked in various departments of a Brussels law firm (EU / State Aid Law) as well as in the German Parliament’s (Bundestag) committee for internal affairs. Before studying at Georg-August-University of Göttingen, Robert Glawe completed a two-year Reserve Officer Training with the military services and has been a Staff Officer in the Reserves since 2013. Robert Glawe advises and represents enterprises at the interface between law, private industry and politics, primarily on regulation in export transactions (foreign trade law) and on state contract award proceedings (procurement law). He has many years of experience accompanying large-scale EU procurement proceedings on the side of contractors and bidders as well as in the field of EU procedural law. His services also include advising on the establishment of foreign trade compliance structures and measures to avoid conflict between the private and public sector. His focus is the safety and defence industry as well as in the area of modern industrial technologies (digitalization, additive manufacturing, e-mobility). The German business magazine WirtschaftsWoche lists him as a leading lawyer in the field of public procurement law.
