Edder Cifuentes has worked at Oppenhoff since 2014. He studied law at the Universidad de Chile (Santiago, Chile) and at the University of Copenhagen (Denmark). Cifuentes is Chilean lawyer and member of the Chilean Bar Association as well as the Cologne Bar Association (Germany). Previously, he worked as senior associate at the Chilean law firm Bofill Mir & Álvarez Jana focusing on advisory and transactional corporate law issues for a variety of local and international corporate clients. Prior thereto he worked at the legal desk of Coca-Cola in Santiago, Chile. Edder Cifuentes holds a Master of Law and Business (M.L.B) degree from Bucerius Law School/WHU Otto Beisheim School of Management (Hamburg and Vallendar, Germany). He is Ph.D. student at Bucerius Law School since 2014. Edder Cifuentes specialises in commercial and corporate law, M&A as well as capital markets law, and has particular expertise in corporate matters with a Latin American– European cross-border perspective. Edder Cifuentes is ranked by Chambers Global as the only foreign expert in Germany for Corporate/M&A in Chile.
