Anna-Catharina von Girsewald has been a lawyer at Oppenhoff since 2017. She studied law at the University of Konstanz. During her legal internship she already worked at Oppenhoff as well as, amongst other things, at Alston & Bird, New York. Prior to joining Oppenhoff, she worked as a lawyer at the law firm of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP in the field of Corporate / M&A. She is a member of the Cologne Bar Association (Kölner Anwaltsverein). Anna-Catharina von Girsewald advises German and foreign corporations in national and international M&A transactions and joint ventures. Moreover, she advises on all issues regarding general corporate and commercial law as well as on company restructurings and reorganisations. A further focus of her work is the advice on all matters of insurance supervisory law.
