As a corporate partner at Olshan, Honghui Yu engages in general corporate and securities law transactions, focusing on securities offerings and M&A transactions. Honghui has assisted publicly traded and privately held companies in mergers and acquisitions, financing transactions, corporate governance and securities law matters, including the preparation and filing of Securities Act and Exchange Act reports. In addition, Honghui has extensive experience advising early-stage start-ups and venture capital funds in connection with their formation and capital raising. Honghui also counsels owners and developers in structuring investments in real estate partnerships and joint ventures. Honghui was a summer associate at Olshan in 2013. She received her J.D., cum laude, from Washington University School of Law, and her B.A., with honors, in History and Economics from The University of Chicago. Prior to joining Olshan, she was a legal intern at the Division of Enforcement of the Securities and Exchange Commission. Honghui is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
