Christopher Jones Bio

Christopher Jones advises financial institutions, alternative lenders, investment funds and corporate clients on a broad range of multi-jurisdictional transactions. As a partner in the Guernsey Banking and Finance team, he has extensive experience in respect of a wide range of banking and finance matters, including real estate finance, fund finance, asset finance, event driven secured and unsecured financing, derivatives, corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, listings and regulation. As the lead non-contentious partner in the firm's multi-disciplinary Restructuring and Insolvency Guernsey team, his practice covers all non-contentious aspects of restructuring and reorganisations, including loan workouts, schemes of arrangement and issues relating to security creation, maintenance and enforcement. He regularly advises on complex cross border reorganisations of regulated and non-regulated structures. Christopher also leads the Guernsey Aviation and Marine sector and advises a wide range of clients on all Guernsey aspects relating to aviation and maritime assets, including registrations on the Guernsey aircraft registry, 2-REG.
