and access,
As a member of Offit Kurman’s Business Law and Transactions practice group, Jordan Savitz advises clients in all stages of the business life cycle. He assists clients with matters including, but not limited to, choice of entity, complex operating and stockholder agreements, compliance with Rule 506 of Regulation D, real estate leasing, employment agreements, website terms and conditions, trademark filings, complex contract drafting and negotiation, succession planning, as well as stock and asset purchase agreements. Mr. Savitz leverages this background and his passion for solving the challenges of entrepreneurship to understand his clients’ business model and strategic objectives and to provide practical legal advice that hedges against current and future risks. As both his parents are law school graduates and business owners, Mr. Savitz grew up in an entrepreneurial environment. He has learned to love the challenges inherent in growing a successful business, and understands the importance of small business in the community. At 16 Mr. Savitz formed his first business venture, OmniNoise Productions, which he used as a platform to showcase local musicians in three “Battle of the Bands” competitions. At Boston University, he graduated with a bachelor of science in business administration from the School of Management. While in college, he gained first hand experience in finance at Merril Lynch, commercial real estate at Edens & Avant (now Edens), and branding from both Feld Entertainment (the parent company to Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus), and Chipotle Mexican Grill. Mr. Savitz obtained his JD/MBA in three years from the University in Baltimore, with a concentration in business law. He is now chair of the Business Law Section and Community Outreach Committee of the Montgomery County Bar Association.
