Beatriz Baldit-Castro is a member in the Corporate Department. She joined O’Neill & Borges in 2016. Beatriz’s main areas of practice are real estate, commercial lending and general corporate law. In addition, she has also focused her work on mortgage and notarial law matters (such as leasehold negotiations and drafting representing both landlords and tenants), mergers and acquisitions, private equity and investment company transactions. Beatriz has been involved in numerous transactions representing local and international financial institutions with multiple financing transactions such as asset-based and real estate based loans, participated financings, loan workouts and restructurings. Beatriz has also represented clients in the performance of due diligence and the drafting, negotiation and execution of transaction documents related to the acquisition of loan portfolios and the related financing agreements.
