Carlo Sallustio acquired a more than twenty-years’ experience in tax law, starting at the Central Legal Directorate of the Italian Revenue Agency and then at a leading tax law firm and an international law firm. Although he has dealt with most areas of taxation, he is mainly focused on international taxation, tax aspects of corporate reorganizations, tax litigation and tax planning for HNWI. He has often dealt with real estate taxation and cross-border corporate reorganizations. Moreover, he has obtained a particular experience and know how in preparing and managing the tax ruling procedure (Interpelli) before the Italian Revenue Agency and in tax litigation where he has dealt with cases that were significant from a practice and theoretical standpoint. Admitted to the Italian Bar since 1993, he has a Ph.D. in Tax law and is Adjunct Professor in Tax Law at the University of Turin. Carlo Sallustio is the author of numerous publications including monographs, contributions to collective volumes and essays published in leading legal journals. He speaks English and French.
