Pavel is a Czech-qualified attorney with 25+ years of broad experience in corporate, banking and commercial matters, especially matters having a cross-border angle. After a career as partner at major international law firms, in 2015 he teamed up with the best of the class to create NOVALIA, a modern legal platform that provides superior service to select clients using cutting edge know-how and technology. Pavel’s core practice is assisting clients who are buying, selling or financing their businesses. He has advised on more than a 100 M&A transactions. He also assists his clients on a wide range of commercial matters, including dispute resolution. He has been widely praised by clients for his commercially astute, pragmatic and results-oriented approach. Pavel has law degrees from Charles University in Prague, the University of San Francisco, and Masaryk University in Brno. He is the author of numerous publications and articles on various business law topics, including on merger control, life sciences, and franchising.
