Peter Isler Bio

Peter R. Isler is a senior partner at NKF with very broad experience in various areas of law including membership in the boards of directors of Swiss corporations. He is highly recognised by clients because of his profound legal knowledge and negotiation skill. In 2001, Peter was named one of the two best business lawyers in Switzerland by Chambers and is listed as a top tier lawyer in many directories. Peter R. Isler has been involved in many complex acquisitions and takeovers. He acts as expert for corporate governance and compensation issues, as arbitrator in commercial arbitration cases and as executor in large estate matters. He teaches at the University of Zurich, School of Law and has been an examiner of the Zurich Bar Exam Commission for more than 30 years. He is co-editor of the Swiss Journal of Law and has written many legal publications. Peter R. Isler was until 2021 also elected president of the Alumni Organizations of the University of Zurich and a member of the Board of Trustees of the UZH Foundation.
