Lauren Ziegler is a Member at Nemphos Braue, where she represents startups, emerging and mature private companies, and investors in a variety of corporate, securities and business law matters. She regularly assists clients with mergers and acquisitions, capital raises and securities laws compliance, technology transactions, entity formation and governance, joint ventures, business structuring, and contract management and negotiation. Ms. Ziegler has worked with industrial services companies, technology companies, real estate investment trusts, real estate developers, and companies in the life sciences, insurance, manufacturing, financial services and consumer products industries. Before joining NB Law, Ms. Ziegler was an associate at Ballard Spahr LLP where her practice focused on corporate governance, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and securities law compliance and reporting. From 2018 to 2021, Ms. Ziegler was a member of the Advisory Board of GEM (Girls’ Empowerment Mission), a Living Classrooms Foundation program dedicated to empowering high school girls from underserved communities by providing opportunities and growth experiences that will enable them to become independent, self-sufficient and confident young women. She previously served as a member of the Greater Baltimore Committee’s Bridging the Gap Committee, which strives to advance Greater Baltimore’s business culture by creating an atmosphere for minority and women-owned businesses to succeed. From 2019 to 2022, Ms. Ziegler served on Governor Hogan’s Park Advisory Commission, which advises the Superintendent of the Maryland Park Service concerning the operation, maintenance and mission of Maryland’s parks. Recognizing outstanding dedication to her occupation and the community, Ms. Ziegler received The Daily Record’s Leadership in Law Award in 2020.
