Frans Overkleeft Bio

Frans Overkleeft is an expert in corporate litigation. He mostly handles transaction-related disputes, including cases on contested public takeover bids and shareholder activism defence, and his cases typically involve cross-border matters. He acts on complex corporate and securities disputes in inquiry proceedings before the Dutch Enterprise Court, in regular court proceedings and in arbitration proceedings under various rules. Frans has previously gained extensive experience as an M&A-lawyer within the firm. In that capacity, he has worked on various national- and cross border takeovers of both listed companies (e.g. public offers) as well as privately-held companies.
