Edward Mayerhofer Bio

Edward is a partner with the firm with extensive corporate finance and securities experience. He has represented clients in numerous mergers and acquisitions, cross border and international transactions, corporate reorganizations, stock exchange transactions, and corporate finance matters. He has advised companies in connection with listings on the TSX, TSXV, CSE, NYSE and NASDAQ. Edward acts for established and emerging technology, industrial and natural resource companies. He has advised on complex spin-out transactions, strategic acquisitions, joint venture and co-development agreements, contested shareholder meetings, and a range of financing structures and stock based compensation arrangements. He has acted as advisor to independent board committees and on corporate governance compliance matters. He acts for clients in connection with their involvement in transactions in jurisdictions worldwide. Edward obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of British Columbia in 1994, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Concordia University in 1991.
