Barry Maytum Bio

Barry has over 30 years’ experience as a corporate lawyer and has worked a substantial amount of that time in the city. With a wealth of experience and expertise, Barry specialises in corporate law, with a particular focus on venture capital and private equity investments, acquisition finance, management buy-outs, mergers & acquisitions, and shareholder agreements. He has extensive experience of acting for large international technology companies, growing companies and venture capital funds, as well as cross-border transactions. He has acted for a number of NASDAQ, NYSE and FTSE 250 multinational clients, a range of UK and US venture capital firms, various owner managed or private equity backed growing businesses; and several start-ups. Over the years’, Barry has developed a keen interest and experience in assisting clients establish and run not for profit businesses and generally working for Third Sector clients.
