Marvin Mitchell received his undergraduate degree from Ohio State University, and his "J.D." degree from the Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis. While in law school, he served as a research assistant to the Chief Justice of the Indiana Supreme Court. He is admitted to practice in the United State Courts of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit as well as the Supreme Court of the United States. He has argued before the Indiana Supreme Court, the Seventh Circuit and the Indiana Court of Appeals. Marvin has authored more than thirty five articles on real estate, dissolution, trial practice, taxes, estate planning and corporate law for Res Gestae, the Practical Lawyer, the Real Estate Practical Lawyer, Fair Share, the American Bar Association, the Indianapolis Bar Association and the Indiana Continuing Legal Education Forum. He has served as panelist and as chairman of numerous continuing legal education seminars.
