Steven Geerlings is a Partner in the Finance Group specialising in asset-based lending. With over 25 years' experience in banking and securities law, acquisition finance and commercial lending, he advises on cross-border commercial and acquisition finance transactions and on insolvency issues for major asset-based lenders in the UK, the US and various European markets. Steven has an in-depth knowledge of fintech developments and serves as a member of the Steering Committee of the global web-based fintech platform World of Open Account (WOA). Registered at the bars of Amsterdam and London, he is a native Dutch speaker and is fluent in English, Italian, French and German. His experience and network across the US and Europe means he is well-placed to advise on deals with an international element.
