Scott Dunberg represents public and private companies in a broad range of transactions and corporate matters. His practice focuses primarily on mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financings, capital markets transactions, securities law compliance and general corporate representation. Scott works with clients that range in size from start-up ventures to large public companies. He regularly represents technology-based companies, principally in the areas of biotechnology, med-tech, telecommunications, and software. On behalf of his clients, Scott drafts and negotiates primary transaction documents, investment-related documents, commercial agreements and governance documents. He also advises clients on general corporate and limited liability company law and fiduciary duties. Prior to joining Mintz, Scott was an associate in the Boston office of another international law firm. During law school, he clerked for the Honorable Kevan J. Cunningham at the Taunton District Court and was on the Suffolk University Transnational Law Review. Before joining the legal profession, Scott was a marketing professional responsible for public relations matters, coordinating experiential marketing campaigns, and creating marketing materials.
